Short version: this site sets no cookies and tracks nothing. The only personal data we receive is what you type into the enquiry form and choose to send us over WhatsApp, and we use it to answer your enquiry. The detail is below.
Who we are
This website is operated by Veritas Lifecare, 63, Sunshine Industrial Hub-1, Nr. Navapura Village, Changodar, Ahmedabad, Gujarat 382213, India, trading as BerrySure. For the purposes of the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, we are the Data Fiduciary for the personal data described here.
What we collect, and when
We collect personal data in exactly one place: the enquiry form on our Contact page. If you fill it in, we receive your name, your organisation, your email address, and — if you choose to give them — your phone number, the product line you are interested in, your estimated monthly volume, and whatever you write in the message field.
You give us that data deliberately. Nothing is collected in the background: this site sets no cookies, uses no analytics, no advertising pixels, no tracking scripts and no browser storage of any kind. You can verify this in your browser’s developer tools. There is no cookie banner because there is nothing to consent to.
If you contact us by WhatsApp, phone or email instead, we hold whatever you send us through that channel.
How the enquiry form actually works
This is a static website with no server of its own, so the form does not transmit your details to us when you press the button. Instead it assembles the details you typed into a pre-written WhatsApp message and opens WhatsApp on your device. Nothing reaches us until you press send inside WhatsApp. Until that moment the data has not left your device, and if you close WhatsApp without sending, we never receive it.
Once you do send it, the message travels through WhatsApp and is governed by WhatsApp’s own privacy terms as well as ours.
Why we use it
To answer your enquiry: to prepare a quotation, arrange samples, confirm specifications, and follow up on that conversation. We do not use your details for anything else. We do not send marketing to people who only asked for a price, we do not build profiles, and we do not make automated decisions about you.
Who else sees it
We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it for anyone else’s marketing. It is seen by our own staff who handle enquiries, and it passes through these service providers:
- WhatsApp (Meta Platforms) — carries your enquiry message to us.
- Cloudflare — hosts this website and, like any web host, processes the IP addresses and request logs needed to serve pages and block abuse.
- Google Fonts — the site loads the Inter typeface from Google’s servers, which means your browser’s IP address is visible to Google when a page loads. No other information is sent, and no cookie is set by it.
We may also disclose data where the law requires it, or to establish or defend a legal claim.
Where it goes
Our records are held in India. The service providers above operate globally, so your data may be processed on servers outside India in the course of delivering the message or the page.
How long we keep it
Enquiries are kept for as long as needed to answer them and to support the commercial relationship that follows, and after that for as long as tax and company records law requires us to retain business correspondence. When neither reason applies any more, we delete it. You can ask us to erase your enquiry sooner — see your rights below.
How we protect it
This site is served only over HTTPS, so the connection between your browser and us is encrypted. The site holds no database and no user accounts, so there is no store of customer records attached to it that could be breached. Internally, access to enquiry correspondence is limited to the people who need it to do their work.
Your rights
Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 you may:
- ask what personal data of yours we hold, and how we have used it;
- ask us to correct anything inaccurate, complete anything incomplete, or update anything out of date;
- ask us to erase your data, where we are not required to keep it;
- withdraw your consent at any time, which stops any further use of your data going forward;
- nominate another person to exercise these rights on your behalf if you die or become incapacitated;
- raise a grievance with us, and escalate to the Data Protection Board of India if you are not satisfied with how we handled it.
To exercise any of these, write to mail@berrysure.in with enough detail for us to find your record. We will respond within the timelines the Act sets, and we will not charge you for it.
Grievances
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your personal data, contact our Grievance Officer at mail@berrysure.in, or by post at the address below. We will acknowledge your complaint and tell you what we have done about it. If you remain dissatisfied, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
Children
BerrySure sells to hospitals, clinics, laboratories and distributors. This site is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has sent us personal data, tell us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle personal data, we will update this page and change the date at the top. Material changes will be described here rather than made quietly.
